Trump’s Medicaid Cuts

House Republicans released their initial budget plan. It includes deep cuts to Medicaid. Meanwhile, Trump plans to give Elon Musk $400 million for untested armored vehicles from Tesla.

Nursing homes in New York will be forced to close their doors without an increase in Medicaid funding, a dire warning as Trump freezes federal funds and plan to cut Medicaid. Working with the White House’s Domestic Policy Council and Office of Management and Budget, the House Energy and Commerce Committee was on track to slash hundreds of billions of dollars from programs, much of it coming from Medicaid.
