Sexual Assault Indictment

A Sumter County Grand Jury indicted Towodi Shequoyah of exposing himself and attempting to sexually assault a resident at the nursing home. He was a caregiver at the facility. Shequoyah allegedly committed these sick acts in February 2021 while working in a Sumter nursing home. Officials said another employee saw Shequoyah in a 73-year-old woman’s room with his pants down. No reasonable explanation exists for his predatory behavior.

Towodi Shequoyah (also known as Tony Shequoyah,  Tony Tonski, and Abdullah Muhammad) is a former Peachtree Centre nursing home caregiver. I can’t believe this guy can find a job. Would you want him taking care of your loved one?

Shequoyah was charged with attempt to commit abuse of a vulnerable adult and third-degree attempt to commit criminal sexual conduct.

The attempt to commit abuse of a vulnerable adult charge carries a penalty of up to five years in prison.

The attempt to commit criminal sexual conduct charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
