Russia Again?
Russia Again
Trump’s former Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats was the top intelligence official from March 2017 to August 2019. Coats continues to have “deep suspicions” that Putin “had something” on Trump. Coats could see “no other explanation” for the president’s behavior toward the Russian president.
Patriot Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman said, “President Trump should be considered to be a useful idiot and a fellow traveler, which makes him an unwitting agent of Putin. They may or may not have dirt on him, but they don’t have to use it. They have more effective and less risky ways to employ him. He has aspirations to be the kind of leader that Putin is, and so he admires him. He likes authoritarian strongmen who act with impunity, without checks and balances. So he’ll try to please Putin.”
Paul Manafort admitted that his Ukrainian business partner, Konstantin V. Kilimnik, repeatedly asked whether Trump would permit Russia to take over all of eastern Ukraine. Kilimnik is a Russian operative as well according to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
CIA Assessment
Putin is manipulating the election with useful idiots. The August 31st CIA assessment concluded with utmost confidence:
“We assess that President Vladimir Putin and the senior most Russian officials are aware of and probably directing Russia’s influence operations aimed at denigrating the former U.S. Vice President, supporting the U.S. president and fueling public discord ahead of the U.S. election in November.”
Again. The CIA’s report damages Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani for working with a Russian agent to help Trump win re-election. The former New York City Mayor has been openly working with Andriy Derkach for several months. Derkach is the corrupt Ukrainian lawmaker and Russian agent. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the U.S. Treasury Department designated him as a Russian agent spreading false and made up stories about Joe Biden.
Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson is another useful idiot. Derkach also funneled false materials to Johnson directly to use against Joe Biden. Even Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) said, “It is not the legitimate role of government, for Congress or for taxpayer expense, to be used in an effort to damage political opponents.”
A Republican-led Senate investigation into corruption allegations against Biden and his son Hunter found no evidence of improper influence-peddling or wrongdoing by the former vice president. These hypocrites know they are lying about Joe Biden but they don’t care.
Compromised
The full scope of Trump’s personal and financial ties to Russia has never been examined. Reporter Michael Schmidt of the New York Times reported that former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein secretly limited what Mueller could look at when it was examining Trump’s ties to Russia. Rosenstein prevented them from looking at any of Trump’s financial ties to Russian Oligarchs or even his taxes. It is necessary to review Trump’s finances in order to see how he is compromised.
Rosenstein did not tell FBI director McCabe of the limitation. McCabe said,
“We opened this case in May 2017 because we had information that indicated a national security threat might exist, specifically a counterintelligence threat involving the president and Russia,” McCabe said. “I expected that issue and issues related to it would be fully examined by the special counsel team. If a decision was made not to investigate those issues, I am surprised and disappointed. I was not aware of that.”
Representative Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) offered Julian Assange a presidential pardon if he would help cover up Russia’s role in hacking the Democratic National Committee’s emails in 2016.
An Investment
Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen wrote that Trump knew Putin was investing in him. His own little Manchurian Candidate.
In 2008, a Russian oligarch with close ties to Putin bought property from Trump. The oligarch overpaid for the property to launder money. The Russian paid Trump double what Trump paid for it a year earlier despite the economic downturn. This paid Trump $50 million. According to Cohen, Trump knew that Putin put up the money for the deal.
The same account that Cohen used to pay off Trump’s mistress adult film actress Stephanie Clifford (known as Stormy Daniels) also received $500,000 in payments from a company linked to a Russian oligarch. Incredible.
Trump continues to decline to endorse a peaceful transfer of power after the November election, saying, “We’re going to have to see what happens.” He is a threat to American Democracy.
