Why won’t Republicans protect themselves from the coronavirus?  Vaccine skepticism is dangerous. Voting Republican is the single biggest factor in determining vaccination rates. Less than 60 percent of Republicans are protected. Democratic voters have more than 91 percent. The vaccination gap caused a disparity in death rates based on political party. Independents’ vax rate is around 70%, and is influenced by education.

Fox News, Newsmax, One America News, the Sinclair Broadcast Group and alt-right talk radio push vaccine skepticism. Social media and Facebook spread the disinformation. However, Omicron is more contagious than any earlier variant. The danger is higher.

Dr. Peter Hotez of the Baylor College of Medicine said:

“Just since this summer, 150,000 unvaccinated Americans have needlessly lost their lives despite the widespread availability of vaccines.” 

Republicans just need to take a Covid-19 vaccine — the “Trump vaccine” that will save their life.
