Unqualified Caregivers

The U.S. Department of Justice charged 25 Floridians a wire fraud scheme that created illegal licenses and employment shortcuts to supply unqualified caregivers to nursing homes throughout the southeast including South Carolina. The defendants “engaged in a scheme to sell fraudulent nursing degree diplomas and transcripts obtained from accredited Florida-based nursing schools.”
