Whistleblower Forced to Resign

Newsweek reported that Charles Borges, the Chief Data Officer at the Social Security Administration (SSA), has resigned following his whistleblower complaint alleging that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) mishandled sensitive personal data of over 300 million Americans.

A letter dated 29 August 2025 from Charles Borges, Chief Data Officer, Social Security Administration, addressed to Frank Biggs, Commissioner. The letter includes text about resignation and mentions the Social Security Administration.
