Trump Trolls

Trump is trolling the American people to distract from his response to the coronavirus. Nearly 7 in 10 Americans say Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak makes them feel embarrassed. 62% of the public says Trump could be doing more to fight the outbreak. The new poll finds disapproval of Trump’s handling of the outbreak at a new high, 58%. Trolling is when someone makes intentionally inflammatory, stupid, rude, or upsetting statements to elicit strong emotional responses in people or to steer the conversation off-topic. Trump is the King of the Trolls. He says stupid and racist statements to upset Democrats and waste the time of the media.

Trump praised adherents of the false conspiracy theory QAnon.  These lunatics believe that Trump is secretly waging a covert war against a “deep state” cabal of Satan-worshiping global elites involved in pedophilia and child sex trafficking. Remember Trump was best buddies with known pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Trump has retweeted accounts often focused on conspiracy theories, including those of QAnon, on at least 145 occasions.

At a recent press conference, Trump playfully endorsed QAnon.

The president said “I don’t know much about the movement other than, I understand, they like me very much which I appreciate…. I have heard that it is gaining in popularity … I heard these are people who love our country.”

A reporter followed up: “QAnon believes you are secretly saving the world from this cult of pedophiles and cannibals. Are you behind that?”

Trump responded: “Is that supposed to be a bad thing? We are actually. We are saving the world.”

The crazy conspiracy-theory believes Trump is our savior. The cult of personality continues.

Kevin Roose breaks down everything you need to know about QAnon. Qanon nuts believe the coronavirus is a hoax. The conspiracy theorists believe the deaths and hysteria surrounding the pandemic was part of a plot to hurt Trump’s reelection chances. At least 37 current or former congressional candidates have embraced Q, according to an online tally by the progressive nonprofit Media Matters for America.

The FBI assesses that QAnon will lead to more domestic terrorism and is a threat to national security. Qanon claimed that Hillary Clinton was running a child sex ring out of Comet Ping Pong pizza place. One idiot even tried to shoot up Comet Ping Pong in Washington D.C.!  It is now known as Pizzagate. Even Facebook has removed nearly 800 QAnon-affiliated groups from its site and restricting others. These people have a mental illness.

Laura Loomer is a Qanon conspiracy nut that represents the Republican party for a congressional seat in Florida. Loomer is a racist bigot who hates practitioners of the Islam faith. After calling a Lyft and canceling it after seeing a Muslim name, she tweeted, “Someone needs to create a non Islamic form of uber or lyft because I never want to support another Islamic immigrant driver.”

In response to a report that 2,000 refugees including children drowned in the Mediterranean Sea, she tweeted, “Good. Here’s to 2,000 more.” Loomer also spreads vicious anti-Muslim stereotypes. She won the primary handily. Tells us a lot about the current Republican Party. Sad.
